- Mary
Kay Tour
Two types of tours: 1. Corporate Headquarters (incl. Mary Kay Museum) is M - F from 9:00-4:30. In Plano. 2. Manufacturing Facility (Real action) - Mon at 2:00, T - TH 10:30 or 2:00 and Fri. 10:30. Near I-35 on way to Dallas. (This is a review from Melissa Wikman.) At the manufacturing they don't do anything with powder in the us because of strict laws for breathing while making it. But they are doing creams and perfume and etc. So sometimes the upstairs chemical lab is open and some times not, but you do see the cream getting filled in the squeeze tube and then the heat seal the tub and then the lid added and then boxed all my the computers. So you see real manufacturing. There is some premixing you see too. We only did that tour. Reservations are required two days prior to the actual tour, although they said that it does fill up so we should do it sooner. There is a tour number to call. The number is (972) 687-5720. They will need to make a reservation and it can be done by leaving a voice message on this line.
