Junior Girl Scouts (Ages 8-11)
Explorations, Fun, and Best Friends Forever
Junior Girl Scouts earn badges and discover what girl power is all about through new activities and by learning to take charge of their own plans. They gain self-confidence as they explore the world in partnership with their troop/group leaders.
Juniors can choose between a vest or a sash on which to store all their badges. Uniforms are never required.

What awards do Juniors earn?
Juniors can earn a variety of awards. Junior Girl Scout badges are earned by completing 6 activities on a wide range of subjects.

Juniors can also earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award
The Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can earn, requires her to learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community.
