The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can earn. The Girl Scout Bronze Award requires the Girl Scout to learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community. Working towards the Girl Scout Bronze Award demonstrates her commitment to helping others, improving her community and the world, and becoming the best she can be.
GSUSA released new guidelines for the Girl Scout Gold Award, Silver Award, and Bronze Award in Summer 2009. The new guidelines will go into effect on October 1, 2011. Note: All GS Bronze Award projects under the old guidelines MUST BE COMPLETED by September 30, 2011
