GS Troop Leaders, Assistant Leaders
Outstanding Leader Award
- Is a registered Girl Scout Adult Volunteer.
- Has been a GS Troop Leader, Assistant Leader, or Advisor for at least one full Girl Scout membership year*.
- Has completed the appropriate adult education and has demonstrated competence in girl/adult partnership, communication, membership development, pluralism, and program delivery.
- Has demonstrated outstanding performance as a GS Troop Leader and whose work with girls has exceeded expectations.

Green Angel Award
- Has been a registered Girl Scout Troop Leader, Assistant Leader, or Advisor for at least three (3) full Girl Scout membership years*.
- Has received the Outstanding Leader Award.
- Has continually demonstrated outstanding leadership service.
- Has continually participated in adult education (beyond the basic courses).
- Has continually demonstrated girl leadership and girl planning on GS Troop activities.

Silver Rose Award
- Has served continuously as a registered GS Troop Leader, Assistant Leader or Advisor for girls for a minimum of five (5) full Girl Scout membership years*.
- Has received the Outstanding Leader and Green Angel Awards.
- Has continually performed at an outstanding level.
- Has continually participated in adult education beyond the basic courses.
- Has participated with the troop in service unit events and activities.
- Has continually demonstrated girl leadership and girl planning on GS Troop activities.

Golden Wings Award
- Has served continuously as a registered GS Troop Leader, Assistant Leader, or Advisor for a minimum of seven (7) full Girl Scout membership years*.
- Has received the Outstanding Leader, Green Angel, and Silver Rose Awards.
- Has continually performed at an outstanding level.
- Has continually participated in adult education beyond the basic courses.
- Has participated with the GS Troop in service unit events and activities.
- Has continually demonstrated girl leadership and girl planning on troop activities.
- Has served as a mentor or Big SIS to a GS Troop Leader.
- Because Golden Wings is the highest award for volunteers serving in the position of GS Troop Leader, Assistant Leader or Advisor, nominator may choose to present the award either at the council event or a local ceremony.
GS Troop Cookie Managers
GSNETX Trefoil Award, for someone who:
- Is a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer and has served at least one (1) full Girl Scout membership year* in a capacity of the GS Troop Cookie Manager.
- Has received Troop Cookie Manager training in the year of service being recognized.
- Has provided outstanding service as a GS Troop Cookie Manager.
GSNETX Tagalong Award, for someone who:
- Is a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer and has served at least two (2) full Girl Scout membership years* in a capacity of the GS Troop Cookie Manager.
- Has received Troop Cookie Manager training in the most recent year of service being recognized.
- Has previously earned the GSNETX Trefoil Award.
- Has provided outstanding service as a GS Troop Cookie Manager.
GSNTEX Thin Mint Award, for someone who:
- Is a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer and has served at least three (3) full Girl Scout membership years* in a capacity of the GS Troop Cookie Manager.
- Has received Troop Cookie Manager training in the most recent year of service being recognized.
- Has previously earned the GSNETX Tagalong Award.
- Has provided outstanding service as a GS Troop Cookie Manager.
GSNETX Samoa Award, for someone who:
- Is a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer and has served at least four (4) full Girl Scout membership years* in a capacity of the GS Troop Cookie Manager.
- Has received Troop Cookie Manager training in the most recent year of service being recognized.
- Has previously earned the GSNETX Thin Mint Award.
- Has provided outstanding service as a GS Troop Cookie Manager.
The President's Award is for those service units in which team members are registered adult Girl Scout volunteers, have all completed appropriate training at least every three (3) years, delivered the Girl Scout program effectively to the area, resulting in the continuity of 75% of the troops/groups or of the retention of troop/group leadership, reached or surpassed the overall girl membership goal for the area as agreed upon by the team and council, reflects the diversity of the geographic area or service unit, cultivates contacts in the community, such as through scheduled talks to civic groups, sponsorship agreements, or community profile updates, to retain and increase girl and adult membership, submits council-required reports on time, maintains ongoing communications with each troop/group and with leaders utilizing a variety of methods (meetings, mail, telephone) that serve the needs of area adults, maintains ongoing communication with girls registered individually in the area, and encourages adult participation in fund development and has increased annual giving support to the council.
